Nigeria’s finance minister and one-time Ogun State Commissioner has been trending on Facebook for goofing in a recent press briefing.
In the video shared by Oak TV on YouTube, the London trained accountant is accusing an examination body in Nigeria for engaging in corruption. She said the agency who budgeted N6 billion for its expenses in 2015 and made a whioping N16 billion as income but reported N3 million.
In the process, Adeosun who is a Chartered Accountant miscalculated saying N24 billion is the sum of N6 billion and N16 billion.
Social media users were quick to point out that the correct answer which is actually N22 billion.
